“Creating a Diverse Work Environment” (Leadership Series)

Diversity and Inclusion is on the rise and one of the biggest topics of every industry right now.  It is important for companies and individuals to understand what it takes to create this diverse environment.  Diversity is not just about hiring the right people but how you actually include them.  We will talk about the benefits of interacting and including everyone on your team.

Delila House is the owner of Delila Shantea, LLC, and works as an Enablement Training Specialist for SmartRent.  Prior to joining SmartRent she worked in multi-family management and public accounting.  

With over a decade of experience in the multi-family industry, Delila has been able to help challenging properties and develop future team leaders.  She is a graduate of Jackson State University. She achieved her CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) in 2016 and became a part of the NAAEI Faculty in 2018. her goal is to motivate people to be the best version of themselves, which led her to develop "Friend I Got You" and become a Certified Life and Leadership Coach. As a coach, she focuses on mentorship and leadership within the marketplace.
